Caught Hobos For Hire live at the Penny Road Pub last night. Great show. Takes courage and talent to play a full set of inspired originals when you open for two highly accomplished and popular cover bands. But H4H pulled it off witih high energy, an inventive set list, and great rock chops. If Hobos for Hire come to your town, take my advice -- Hire them!

I love band names. Lately, I've been coming across a lot of bands named "bear." In fact, an eMusic search
returns 71 bands or artists with "bear" in their name, or artists
produced by someone named "bear," including: Minus the Bear, Panda
Bear, Jules & the Polar Bears, Edward Bear, Bipolar Bear, Volcano
Bear and Bear Claw.
