TheMusic.com is a great source for new vinyl. This includes demos, remasters and rarities. A recent search yielded these gems:
- 13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS, DEMOS EVERYWHERE.
- 7 NATION ARMY, SLIDE VS. THE WHITE STRIPES (12-inch loop).
- BANANA SPLITS, WE'RE THE BANANA SPLITS. I loved the Banana Splits as a kid. Remember, if you want one of those cool music rushes, play the Splits theme followed by Bob Marley's Buffalo Soldier. And pay attention to the La, La, La chorus.
- DRISCOLL, JULIE & BRIAN AUGER LONDON 1964-1967 (Italian pressed LP). I just discovered Driscoll and Auger's amazing cover of Dylan's "This Wheel's on Fire" thanks to the June IMP mix I received. Where have I been?
And these are just four of the 688 returns on TheMusic.com when I searched for "new vinyl." There are worse ways to spend a rainy afternoon than searching through the new vinyl bin at TheMusic.com.
